

Fengzhao Technology wishes the successful holding of the 2024 Transportation and Transport Discipline Development Forum
Collaboration is the inevitable path for autonomous driving to move towards advanced development forms, and it is also the core connotation of building new intelligent transportation systems. After the successful "Future of Autonomous Driving - Development Forum of Transportation and Transportation Engineering" held in Chongqing in January 2024, the Transportation and Transportation Engineering Development Forum with the theme of "Collaborative Road of Autonomous Driving" was held in Shenzhen from December 7th to 8th.
The forum is guided by the Materials Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering. It is hosted by the School of Vehicles and Transportation at Tsinghua University and the National Key Laboratory of Intelligent Green Vehicles and Transportation at Tsinghua University. The National Natural Science Foundation Innovation Research Group's "Intelligent Vehicle Collaborative Decision making and Control" project serves as the organizational foundation, and has received strong support from BYD Co., Ltd.
The opening ceremony and keynote speech on the morning of the 7th were presided over by Wang Jianqiang, Dean of the School of Vehicle and Transportation Engineering at Tsinghua University. Zhang Lin, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, Wang Zhong, Director of the Fourth Engineering Division and Discipline Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Zhao Lijin, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineers, delivered speeches at the forum, expressing warm congratulations on the convening of the forum and high expectations for the future prospects of autonomous driving technology innovation and development.
Wang Jianqiang warmly welcomed the guests and scholars attending the forum. He emphasized that with the continuous deepening of intelligence and networking, autonomous driving technology is ushering in new development opportunities. Collaboration, as the core element of the evolution of autonomous driving to a higher stage, cannot be separated from the joint efforts and promotion of the government, enterprises, and academia. This forum is not only a vivid witness to the rapid development of autonomous driving technology, but also a grand gathering of wisdom from all parties to jointly explore and build the future of intelligent, advanced, and safe transportation. I hope to take this conference as an opportunity to form more consensus and contribute to the comprehensive construction of China's intelligent transportation system.
Wu Jiangxing, academician of the CAE Member, made a keynote report entitled "Safety Problems and Elastic Engineering of Car Road Cloud Integration", and discussed in detail the safety problems and solutions faced by the car road cloud integration system. He talked about the need for more secure intelligent connected vehicles in the digital age, rather than more cybersecurity products. Empowering network resilience design with endogenous security will open up a new paradigm for the integrated security development of intelligent connected vehicles in China.
Li Keqiang, an academician of the CAE Member, director of the National Key Laboratory of Intelligent Green Vehicles and Transportation of Tsinghua University, and chief scientist of the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center, made a keynote report titled Key Technologies and Industrialized Applications of the Intelligent Connected Vehicle Computing Foundation Platform (CBDES). He emphasized that as a new key core component of intelligent connected vehicles, the computing infrastructure platform requires us to strengthen research on its basic theory, innovative methods, key technologies, and scenario applications; At the same time, we need to promote the co construction and sharing of AI application bases and data; In addition, it is necessary to carry out collaborative research and development of core technologies to accelerate the process of technology application and industrial landing; Finally, efforts should be made to promote the construction of a technical standard system and foster the prosperous development of the industrial ecosystem.
Zhang Yaqin, a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor of Intelligent Science at Tsinghua University, and Dean of the Intelligent Industry Research Institute, gave a keynote speech titled "Some Perspectives on AI Big Models and Autonomous Driving", exploring typical problems involved in the process of autonomous driving and solutions for solving AI big models. He mentioned that the autonomous driving L4+is an important application in the field of artificial intelligence. By gradually expanding from the vertical domain to the implementation path of general driving, as well as the vehicle road collaboration technology led by AI big models, it will provide a new solution for the safety guarantee of autonomous driving, which also meets the needs of China's new infrastructure.
BYD's Chief Scientist and National Excellent Engineer, Lian Yubo, gave a keynote speech titled "Innovation and Prospects of Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Technology", sharing BYD's key technological innovations and practices in the field of new energy vehicles. He pointed out that the development of intelligent electric vehicles in the future will shift from simply adding or removing functions to pursuing user experience quality, and further develop to accurately meet personalized user needs. In this process, product design will extend from intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit to intelligent chassis, in order to continuously enhance and enrich users' driving experience.
In addition, the conference also features 7 technical reports and 1 roundtable forum, jointly focusing on the forefront of autonomous driving technology and exploring new paths for collaborative development. More than ten experts and scholars from universities and enterprises, including Professor Li Shengbo from the School of Vehicles and Transportation at Tsinghua University, Chief Engineer Su Zhibao from the Zhongbing Intelligent Innovation Research Institute, Professor Zhang Fumin from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Chairman Wang Jiemin of Aerospace Era Low altitude Technology Company, Vice General Manager Huang Gang of China Mobile (Shanghai) Information and Communication Technology Co., Ltd., Vice President Sheng Kehua of Didi Autonomous Driving Technology, and President Qiu Yujing of Xinchi Technology, were invited to deliver technical reports and participate in roundtable forum discussions. The conference also invited more than 10 professors and scholars from universities such as Beihang University, Tongji University, Hunan University, Southeast University, Wuhan University of Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Chongqing University of Technology, Jiangsu University, Changsha University of Science and Technology for technical exchanges. Experts from companies such as BYD, China Automotive Center, and SAIC Research and Development Institute were specially invited to empower and assist autonomous driving collaboration from different perspectives.
On the agenda of the 8th, the innovative research group team conducted an annual research progress report and held a special discussion around the "Autonomous Driving Special Issue". The core members of the team reported the important research achievements of this year to the experts and listened to the valuable opinions and suggestions of the attending experts and scholars. In addition, team members had in-depth discussions on major research directions in the future and provided comprehensive reports and exchanges on the progress of the forward-looking technology - autonomous driving special issue organized and hosted by the team. This conference has injected new impetus into the in-depth promotion of innovative research group projects. We believe that with the careful guidance and assistance of experts and scholars, the team will achieve more high-level innovative results around autonomous driving collaborative decision-making and control. At the same time, by exploring the cutting-edge directions of disciplines and condensing key technical issues, we can jointly promote the continuous advancement of autonomous driving technology to new heights.
